Exploring the Erotic during COVID-19: The Joy of Self Exploration, Awareness & Satisfaction (A 3 part Series)
Join Fishtown Wellness Center for a three part series on exploring the power of the erotic during COVID-19. As we adjust to a world with social limitations, our connection to ourselves can be limitless in growth. During this three part series, participants will explore Audre Lorde’s “Uses of the Erotic” to gain a deeper understanding of pleasure in our daily lives. Participants will be provided a space to process and reflect on how pleasure and eroticism has shifted during the time of COVID-19, as well as be given a place to imagine new sources of pleasure in your daily life. This is a LGBTQIA+ intended space to honor the unique experiences of nonheternormative connections during this time.
This series will feature:
– Exploring what “Erotic” means and has meant to particpants
– Active Desire Exploration
– Erotic Mapping, as presented by the Black Fly Zine Collective
– Verbal Skills: Communication and Boundaries
This will be a closed group, meaning that participants are invited to be part of each of the 3 sessions instead of dropping in on random weeks. This helps to create a sense of safety and community that promotes healing.
About The Facilitator:
Ashley Lagrange, M. Ed. Pre-licensed Psychotherapist.
Ashley (They/Them) is a Neurodivergent Non-binary Fat Black Dominican Femme who is passionate about the collective Liberation of all LGBTQIA+ identifying folks through the power of radical vulnerability, self reflection, and community connection. Ashley seeks to guide folks through their emotional processing through a community based lens that honors individual experience.

Each ticket covers a single day so if you purchase the $40 option it covers all 3 sessions.
Donation based tickets cover all 3 as well to make room for those who may not be able to afford the full cost.
This is a virtual event. Participants will receive the a link to the Zoom room 24 hours and 30 minutes before our session.
