Brain Fog & Bubble Gut: Moderating Alcohol Consumption (Bi-Weekly Group)

March 29, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
This is a Bi-Weekly support group to help empower folx to change the way alcohol is incorporated into their lives.

The past nine months have caused unprecedented levels of stress, anxiety, and fear in most of us. Many of us also have had to juggle working from home, caring for loved ones, dealing with remote schooling for kids, and incredible loss and grief. As a result, many of us are drinking more often and using alcohol as a means of coping and/or escape.

This is a support group to help individuals develop skills to aid in moderation and management of alcohol consumption, while building insight into the function that alcohol serves in your life. Join us while we create community support and accountability through group engagement and sharing of resources, skills, and the promotion of strategies to help bring (or maintain) balance to your relationship with alcohol.

About the Facilitator:

Katherine Wendler, MFT, MEd, Pre-Licensed Professional

Katherine (She/Her) is a systemically-trained therapist with experience working in substance abuse at an outpatient and intensive outpatient level of care, conducting individual, couples, and group therapy in association with substance use. Katherine strives to create a honest, collaborative space to explore the varying elements of life that implicates substance use and aid in empowering folx to develop self-compassion while creating personal realistic goals.
