Fishtown Wellness Center’s Online Grief Group
Loss and grief are natural parts of our human experience. For the most part, our psychologies intuitively know how to move through grief if we are given the opportunity. The purpose of this group is to create space for that natural process of grief and growth. The group is facilitated by a therapist, but it is fundamentally a support group for people to learn about grief, talk about the losses they have experienced, and support others in community. There are many types of loss, all of which are important to process, but this group will focus primarily on human loss, such as the death of a loved one.
The group is for ages 18+.
The group is also ‘open,’ meaning you are invited to come as often as you need.
This group will meet every other Tuesday, beginning 11/2/21, from 7-8:30pm EST
The Group will be meeting the following dates:
– Tuesday November 2nd, 7-8:30pm EST
– Tuesday November 16th,7-8:30pm EST
– Tuesday November 20th ,7-8:30pm EST
– Tuesday December 14th, 7-8:30pm EST
