SUMMARY:Weekly drop-in session: Intro to Mindfulness\, Breathwork & Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Meditation does not need to be intimidating. In fact\, it can be a place we anticipate going to play\, explore and experience our deepest joy.\n\n\n\nMindfulness and meditation has long been misunderstood\, though we all are familiar with its general mental and physical health benefits: \n– More positive emotions \n– Longer lasting emotional stability \n– Heightened focus throughout the day \n \nDespite the draw of these benefits\, many people do not practice. They often say\, “I don’t meditate because I think that I’m doing it wrong.” Others explain\, “I’m not good at it. I can’t stop my thoughts.“ \nThese limiting beliefs are not true at all\, and I’ll explain why! In this class\, we will deconstruct the beliefs like these that hold us back in meditation. Together\, we will de-mystify the practice of mindfulness and begin to tap into the transformational effects it can have on your life.   \n \nIn each class\, we will offer: \n– Introduction to the basics of mindfulness\, breathwork and meditation in a way that makes it simple to apply and practice. \n– Discussion of your possible frustrations and/or misunderstandings of these practices. \n– Offer support and guidance as you become familiar with yourself in this new environment and practice. \n \nJoin me in this exploration and creative practice. If you stick around long enough\, you’ll begin to surprise yourself with what transforms in your mind\, your body and in your life.\nClasses will begin November 9th\, and will be hosted weekly on Mondays at 12:30pm – 1:30pm via Zoom.\n \nInformation about the instructor: \nThrough her 15+ years of experience as a holistic wellness and fitness coach\, Brenna Steiner has developed a powerful integrative approach that guides soul seekers looking to support their well-being and enhance both mental and physical performance. Utilizing breathwork and mindfulness as a foundation\, Brenna empowers clients through movement coaching\, nutrition counseling\, and meditation practice. Her intention as a coach is to fuel and support others who have a dream and need to build a body and mind that can support that dream and see it through.
